What positive action can you add to your life today?
Is there something you want to change in your life? Are you motivated to change it? Sometimes trying to stop a behaviour is discouraging e.g. trying to stop eating fast food, trying to stop drinking soda, trying to stop smoking, trying to stop procrastinating. Sometimes it is more helpful to think of what you want to start doing. Think of the positive things you can add to your life instead of what you need to cut out. Add fruits, add vegetables, add a glass more water, add 15 minutes of activity, add 15 minutes playing with your kids, or add 15 minutes on that task you have been avoiding. As Flylady would say, you can do anything for 15 minutes. If you keep it up, these positive actions will encourage you and crowd out the negative habits. If you can be consistent for 21 days, you will have developed a new healthy habit!
